GIL-VR is a VR-enabled Arabic learning application for mobile devices and web browsers. It combines the power of immersive technology to assist learners in picking up reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Arabic. It requires certain basic knowledge of Arabic such as alphabets, and rudimentary grammar and vocabulary.
GIL-VR presents 360° videos shot in real scenarios and helps students learn Arabic from these scenarios via a real-time feedback system. This feedback system is based on natural language processing, text and voice recognition technologies, and artificial intelligence.
